Talk with Borina Andrieu

On 30 October, Borina Andrieu, Managing Director of Wilmotte & Associés, gave a public talk titled ‘Beyond the Exhibition: Designing Museum Experiences’ at the Centre for Contemporary Arts Tashkent (CCA Tashkent).

The talk focused on the relationship between architecture, art and the places where museums are built. Drawing on the studio’s projects around the world, Borina shared examples of museums designed to reflect their surroundings, local history and cultural identity.

She also spoke about creating museums that feel welcoming and accessible to everyone, while finding a balance between preserving the past and bringing new life to historical buildings.

The talk was part of the Tashkent Design Week 2026 programme.
