CCA Tashkent Radio is a regular platform dedicated to sound, contemporary music culture, and artistic exchange, curated by Sabina Inoyatova. Conceived as an extension of the Centre’s interdisciplinary programme, the radio brings together artists, musicians, DJs, researchers, and cultural practitioners from Uzbekistan and around the world.
Each episode features two mixes, DJ sets, or podcast contributions by invited artists, offering diverse sonic perspectives and approaches to listening. The programme explores contemporary electronic music, experimental sound practices, regional scenes, personal archives, and cross-cultural dialogue through sound.
The radio aims to create an accessible and evolving audio archive that reflects the plurality of voices connected to the CCA Tashkent community. Through musical selections and conversations, contributors share not only music, but also the contexts, emotions, memories, and cultural identities embedded within their practice.
Alongside the broadcasts, participating artists contribute curated playlists, forming a living archive of references, influences, and listening practices. These playlists expand the programme beyond the radio format, opening space for discovery, research, and collective exchange.
CCA Tashkent Radio serves as a platform for experimentation, connection, and international artistic dialogue, strengthening relationships between local and global creative communities.
