Centre for Contemporary Arts Tashkent (CCA Tashkent) opens on 6 September 2026

On 6 September 2026, the Centre for Contemporary Arts Tashkent (CCA Tashkent) opens its doors — a cultural institution, gathering place, and living creative ecosystem. Housed in a reinvented 1912 building, it is the first of its kind in the city and the region, built on the belief that art in all its forms deserves a home.

Its multidisciplinary programme brings together established and emerging voices across visual art, performance, film, design, writing, and music. Alongside exhibitions, visitors will find a library, restaurant, and concept store — a place to slow down, connect, and stay awhile. Six days a week, it belongs to anyone curious enough to walk through its doors.

It all begins with Hikmah, the inaugural exhibition setting the tone for what follows.
