CCA Tashkent: James Clar Completes Residency with "10,000 Suns"
On 19 June, artist James Clar completed his residency with the presentation of 10,000 Suns, a spatial, multi-channel video installation inspired by the Big Solar Furnace near Parkent. Visitors had the opportunity to experience the work and explore its immersive environment.
The installation explores how light, technology, and the sun shape perception, memory, and the evolution of cultures. Presented across a network of screens, monitors, and projections, the installation created an environment of light.
It invited audiences to move through the space and encounter shifting perspectives, landscapes, and moments in time.
