Talk with Dr Alia Al-Senussi

On 8 September, CCA Tashkent hosted a lecture as part of its professional development series, The Art World Ecosystem, presented by Dr Alia Al-Senussi, cultural strategist, patron and arts leader.

The lecture examined the interconnected networks that shape the contemporary art world, bringing together artists, museums, cultural institutions, galleries, art fairs, auction houses, collectors and patrons, dealers, media, and other key actors.

Dr Al-Senussi provided a global overview of how these different parts of the art world operate, interact, and build relationships, with a focus on the networks, communities, and opportunities that shape the international art ecosystem.

The session offered the audience an opportunity to consider the structures and relationships that underpin the contemporary art world and the roles different actors play within it.
