The centre’s mission
The Centre for Contemporary Art Tashkent is a long-term and ambitious project of Art and Culture Development Foundation.
It is located in the building of a former diesel station. After the reconstruction of the building, the CCA in Tashkent will become the first contemporary art centre in Central Asia. It will host events with local and international partners, stimulating the integration of the Uzbek art community into the global context.

The project "Tashkent. Vakf" was a continuation of the "Langars of Uzbekistan" projects, focused on studying oral folk traditions and the environment of contemporary habitation.
Qo’rg’on Chiroq

The exhibition project "Qo’rg’on Chiroq" brought together video works by artist Saodat Ismailova, created between 2015 and 2019, in a single exhibition.

The interdisciplinary exhibition included works by musicians, filmmakers, architects, designers, theorists, as well as visual, conceptual and textile artists.
